GENERAL INFORMATION
Alanya
is the district of Antalya city which is a small peninsular
with the Taurus Mountains on the north, the Mediterranean
on the south. As it was describes as the Turkish Riviera
which was compared as the narrow coastal region with clean
sandy beach extending along with the Mediterranean Sea in
Antalya city. Today, Alanya has grown from strength to strength
and developed into one of the most popular travel destinations
attracted many local and foreign tourists. The district is
connected with highways that its driving distance to Antalya
city centre is 135 km and to the international airport is
about 120 km. It has got typical mild Mediterranean weather.

foreign and local tourist can be double. Alanya has received
giant investment in tourism sector and as a consequence,
its economy is based on Tourism and service sector. Although
this situation weakened the agricultural sector, but it created
market for agricultural activities such as citrus fruits,
banana and conservatory fruits and vegetables. Besides sea
sand and sun factor; cultural settings, the rich natural
resources and history have also played an important role
for the development of tourism sector.
